I have taught a large variety
of Internet courses for the beginning and advanced user, including Basic
Web Design, HTML and Building Successful Web Sites.
STANFORD CONTINUING STUDIES
As a consultant to the Stanford Continuing Studies Department, I helped
design and organized their web technologies curriculum. I helped them
find, hire and manage instructors, as well as taught classes. Some of
the classes I taught included Beginning Web Site Design, a hands on course
for those wanting to learn how to build a web site and Designing Successful
Web Sites, a course for managers wanting an overview of web development.
The course covered production process, building an information architecture,
design for the web, and demystifying web technologies.

THE CENTER FOR ELECTRONIC
ART
At the non-profit multimedia school in San Francisco, The Center for
Electronic Art, I taught Publish the Net 3 and 4 (html classes) and Graphics
for the Web. In addition, I team taught in several hands-on intensive
workshops, a one to two week full time course that taught web site design
using a learning-by-doing model. Over the course of the class students
worked collaboratively on a web project for a non-profit group.
