PLEASE NOTE: Many of these sites have been updated, changed or taken
down since I worked on them from 1995-1996. This list is only to give
you an idea of the types of sites I worked on and the links do not represent
actual work I did. Of all the sites the Oakland Zoo site remains truest
to the original site that I produced.
The
Oakland Zoo, July 1996
Independently managed and produced site in collaboration with client and
members of the graduate lab. Oversaw all aspects of creation of the Web
site, including the instructional design, selection and hiring of students,
and web site programming and graphic design.
Marina Middle School Mapping
Project, May 1996
Worked with San Francisco School Volunteers and students from the Marina
Middle School to create a web site for a student project. Taught students
HTML, scanning and Photoshop skills, and worked with them to produce the
site.
Kensington
Microwares Ltd., February, 1996
Converted and formatted all graphics for high visibility commercial web
site. Wrote HTML code, including the guest books and surveys. Worked closely
with and advised client on technical and artistic concerns of the site
construction.
The Virtual Cafe, Ongoing
1995-1996
Managed and coordinated production team of artists and web designers for
site devoted to the promotion of artists and web technology. Researched
and acquired content. Built HTML for the gallery section. Contributed
art work.
Lynne Brooks-Korn, March,
1996
Independently produced site to showcase the artwork of Lynne Brooks-Korn.
Designed site structure and navigation, wrote HTML, created graphics.
Hired and managed programmer to write a counter script.
City
Portraits, December, 1995
Web site produced by CEA for use in two multimedia interactive events
at San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, A Family Day, and The Meet the
Future Conference held in collaboration with The Support Center for Non-Profit
Management. Site allowed families to automatically build their own home
pages and place themselves on a map of San Francisco. Worked with a programmer
to achieve automatic page generation for the participants, created original
graphics for the site, wrote HTML and designed the site structure. Organized
and coordinated the use of the web site at the live events at the Museum
of Modern Art and managed the students who helped participants create
their home pages. Site currently awaiting sponsorship for live version.w
Triad,
October, 1995
Wrote HTML code for this commercial site.
The
Center for Electronic Art, 1996
Responsible for updating CEA web site, organizing new content and writing
HTML.
CEA Production Department,
1996
Produced web site describing the services of the CEA graduate lab, wrote
content and HTML.
